Structural features of crawler excavators
The crawler travel system consists of drive wheels, guide wheels, supporting wheels and rubber/steel crawlers. The ground pressure of some models can reach 31.67 kPa, and the number of supporting wheels is mostly 4-6 sets [3]. The upper platform is equipped with a full-rotation hydraulic motor with a maximum rotation speed of 10.4 rpm. The working device adopts a three-stage linkage mechanism of boom, dipper arm and bucket, and the digging force of the dipper arm can reach 41 kN.
Power configuration
The mainstream models are equipped with a 4-cylinder in-line water-cooled diesel engine, and the typical power configuration is:
Small machine (4-13 tons): 36.2-40 kW
Medium machine (14-20 tons): 40-60 kW [2] The hydraulic system uses a load-sensing variable pump, the main circuit pressure is generally in the range of 20.6-20.9 MPa, and the fuel tank capacity is mostly 75-118 liters.
