Wheel Loader Maintenance

Regular maintenance of wheel loaders is crucial to ensuring proper operation and extending the lifespan of the equipment. During routine maintenance, we need to check for oil, water, and air leaks, as well as any signs of overheating. We also need to check the engine oil, coolant, and hydraulic oil levels, tire pressure and damage, instrumentation and lighting, and grease all joints.

After every 50 hours, check the front and rear driveshaft bolts, the transmission oil level, the foot and hand brakes, the brake booster oil level, and the throttle and transmission systems.

Every 100 hours, change the transmission oil (and every 600 hours thereafter), clean the oil pan filter, change the engine oil (and every 600 hours thereafter), check the battery fluid level, apply petroleum jelly to the battery terminals, and check the tightness of the wheel rim and brake disc bolts, axle bolts, and all fastening bolts. Every 200 hours, check the front and rear axle oil levels, clean the air filter (replace the filter element if necessary), clean the engine oil, diesel, and transmission oil filters, measure tire pressure to 0.27-0.31 MPa, inspect the working device and front and rear frame welds for cracks, and check the tightness of the generator and fan belts.

Every 600 hours, change the front and rear axle gear oil (and every 1000 hours thereafter), clean the diesel tank's oil suction filter, remove contaminants from the radiator and radiator, change the engine oil, replace the engine oil and diesel filters, replace the transmission oil and oil filter, and check the engine valve clearance.

Every 1200 hours, change the hydraulic oil, clean or replace the oil filter, clean the fuel tank, check engine operation, check the hydraulic system, check steering system performance, check braking system performance, and change the brake fluid. Every 2400 hours, the engine should be inspected according to the engine manual, the gearbox and torque converter should be disassembled and inspected, the front and rear axles should be disassembled and inspected, and the welds of all parts of the entire machine should be checked.
