In open-pit mines with suitable conditions, the use of wheeled loaders offers the following advantages:
1. Tire-type front loaders offer fast travel speeds, short cycle times, and high loading efficiency. According to mine calibration data, front loaders with bucket capacities of 5-8m³ can reach speeds exceeding 35 km/h, 30-90 times faster than electric shovels. Each cycle takes only 40-45 seconds, resulting in an average production capacity of 3,500-4,000 tons per shift, and average labor productivity can be increased by 50-100%.
2. Tire-type front loaders are lightweight, weighing only 1/8-1/6 of an excavator of the same bucket capacity. This saves significant steel and reduces manufacturing costs by only 1/4-1/3 of excavators. This makes them more affordable, reducing mine investment in production equipment and reducing the proportion of fixed assets.

3. Tire-type front loaders have strong gradeability and excellent maneuverability, allowing them to load on slopes not accessible to excavators. This is especially true at new mine sites lacking electricity, accelerating mine development and shortening construction cycles.
4. Tire-type front loaders have a depreciation period of only 1/4 to 1/8 that of excavators, requiring replacement with new, more advanced equipment after 5 to 6 years of operation. This facilitates mine management and maintenance, facilitating equipment upgrades.
5. Tire-type front loaders are easier to operate than excavators, shortening driver training time. Each loader only requires one operator, saving manpower, material, and financial resources.
